About Miss Nanette

​Miss Nanette has taught ballet in Lakeland, Florida, for over 20 years and brings the experience of a professional career spanning nine performance seasons. She has danced with the Florida Dance Theatre in Lakeland, FL and the Paradosi Christian Ballet Company in Puyallup, Washington, and she continues to share her passion for excellence in dance with students of all ages. Nanette has studied with Ballet Magnificat! during their Summer Intensives, served as a camp counselor, and successfully passed six of the seven levels in the prestigious Cecchetti Method of Classical Ballet—levels 5 and 6 being professional pointe levels. She has also performed internationally in Jerusalem with the Tabernacle Dance Company during the Feast of Tabernacles and toured nationally with The Thorn production.

In 2013, Nanette was licensed and ordained through Dancing For Him Ministries and now travels nationally and internationally, teaching at worship dance conferences and ministering the Father’s heart through dance and art. She holds a B.A. in Art Communications from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, where she graduated Valedictorian and received the Albert Key Award for her first-place Senior Art Show.

Most importantly, Miss Nanette has a deep love for the Lord and a passion for inspiring children, teens, and adults that they were created to glorify Him. At Nanette Boyer Ballet Dance Studio in Lakeland, FL, she encourages every student to discover that praising God through dance is a powerful way to express love, worship, and joy.
